AN INTERDENOMINATIONAL CONGREGATION

WHAT WE BELIEVE

In general we believe in the Higher Power of God that guides and determines the outcome of human activities which manifests through the Law of Attraction and Law of Cause and Effect, and the power of positive energies through affirmations of the principles of I AM.

  • GOD

ON GOD

We believe God is Spirit and the Uncreated Creator of the universe. God created God-self. Therefore, God is like and only equal to Himself.

  • We believe God is the first person of the Trinity.
  • We believe God is the Energy of the universe and all that is.
  • We believe God is the essence of our being.
  • We believe God is the only true Light
  • We believe God created us in His image and spiritual likeness. (Genesis 1:27)
  • We believe God’s Spirit is present in all things God created
  • We believe God is the I AM
  • God is limitless, boundless and infinite.
  • God is sovereign, omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent.
  • CHRIST

ON JESUS CHRIST

  • We believe Jesus is the incarnate of God. (John 1:14, John 14:11, Philippians 2:6-8)
  • We believe Jesus is the second Person of the Trinity.
  • We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
  • We believe He was born of the Virgin Mary. (Matthew 1:20, Luke 1:35)
  • We believe anyone who is in Christ is a new creation (born again)
  • We believe in the redemptive power of His name-Jesus
  • SPIRIT

ON THE HOLY SPIRIT

  • We believe the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity.
  • We believe the Holy Spirit came from God and through Jesus Christ We believe we are empowered by The Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control:
  • We believe in the ten gifts of the Holy Spirit: Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Courage, Knowledge, Faith, Healing, Mystical Powers, Prophecy and Hearing, Speaking and understanding other languages. 1Corinthians 12:7-10
  • We believe there is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on faithful believers (Baptism in the Spirit. Acts 2:38, Titus 3:5-6
  • CHRIST

ON CHURCH

ON WHO WE ARE

  • We believe we are made in the image and likeness of God.
  • We believe we are spirits clothed in human flesh.
  • We believe we are “gods”, sons and daughters of the Most High (Psalms 82:6).
  • We believe we are God’s expression of love and a true manifestation of His spirit.
  • We believe the God’s spirit in us is the essence of our being therefore is indestructible
  • We believe we are the absolute self, endowed with spirit power to take total control and ownership of our own destiny
  • We are not of this earthly world. “As it is, you do not belong to the world...” John 15:19
  • We are the salt of the earth and children of the Light. We came from the Light.

ON SACRED SCRIPTURE

We believe the sacred scripture is inspired by God through the Holy Spirit to be written for the edification of humanity. (2 Timothy 3:16) We believe the sacred scripture must be read and understood in spiritual contexts. We believe the sacred scripture should not be taken completely literally. We believe the sacred scripture is a source of revelation of things to come and of historical of past. (2 Peter 1:20-21)
  • WORSHIP

ON WORSHIP SERVICE

  • We believe the worship of God must be Spirit centered
  • We believe that worshippers must worship God in spirit and in truth.
  • We believe in the outward expression of the presence of the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe worship service must be orderly (1 Corinthians 14:33)
  • HEAVEN

ON THE KINGDOM OF GOD

  • We believe the Kingdom of God/Heaven is within a person. Luke 17:20-21
  • We believe that Kingdom of God/Heaven is not a geographical location.
  • We believe the coming of the Kingdom of God cannot be observed with the natural eyes.
  • CONSCIOUSNESS

ON GOD AND CHRIST

  • We believe that God consciousness is living a life in constant awareness of the Spirit of God within, the love of God and the Energy of God around us.
  • We believe that Christ consciousness is adhering to the injunctions and following in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
  • We believe that God Consciousness is possessing the righteousness of God and living in the likeness of the Creator.
  • HEAVEN

ON SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION

  • We believe spiritual transformation takes place when our mind is renewed in God
  • We believe spiritual transformation helps us discern the will of God for our lives
  • We believe spiritual transformation is a gift and a grace from God
  • We believe spiritual transformation is a prerequisite for spiritual empowerment.
  • DENOMINATION

ON DENOMINATION

  • We believe Christian denomination is the creation of man.
  • We believe denomination does not and cannot save but only Jesus Christ saves.

ON HOLY COMMUNION

We believe that the celebration of the Holy Eucharist is both a memorial and real presence. “Do this in memory of me.” In Hebrew, the same words mean vividly reliving an event as if it were happening at the moment. Remembering is healing. We believe also in the reality of the presence of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ in the consecrated Bread and Wine. We believe it is food for the soul and not a reward for the righteous.
